Le domaine de la sant\u00e9 n\u2019\u00e9chappe pas \u00e0 cette contrainte. Ainsi donc, la d\u00e9cision de la mise en \u0153uvre de toute intervention de sant\u00e9 se prend en tenant compte entre autres de la charge \u00e9conomique suppl\u00e9mentaire qu\u2019elle repr\u00e9sente, mais aussi et surtout du rapport entre cette charge et le gain d\u2019efficacit\u00e9 obtenu par rapport aux proc\u00e9dures de routine ou \u00e0 une autre intervention. Dans ces conditions et aux vu des restrictions actuelles li\u00e9es \u00e0 la pand\u00e9mie de COVID-19, il d\u2019autant plus important que les chercheurs des pays en d\u00e9veloppement soient outill\u00e9s, pour analyser efficacement les aspects de co\u00fbts li\u00e9s aux solutions op\u00e9rationnelles qu\u2019ils proposent afin d\u2019\u00e9clairer au mieux les d\u00e9cideurs. C\u2019est pour combler ce besoin que l\u2019OMS\/TDR a organis\u00e9 du 12 au 16 avril 2021 via la plateforme Zoom, un atelier visant \u00e0 aider les \u00e9quipes de recherche sur la TB des pays d\u2019Afrique de l\u2019Ouest et du Centre \u00e0 int\u00e9grer les aspects de co\u00fbts dans leur \u00e9tudes en cours sur les moyens de pr\u00e9server la lutte contre la TB contre les impacts li\u00e9s au COVID-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Cet atelier de 5 jours de travail a r\u00e9uni de nombreux pays de la r\u00e9gion et leur a permis d\u2019une part de se familiariser avec des notions importantes d\u2019analyse \u00e9conomique, et d\u2019autre part de travailler en \u00e9quipe (parfois multi-pays) afin de mettre en place le protocole d\u2019\u00e9valuation \u00e9conomique de l\u2019une des interventions qu\u2019ils proposent dans leur pays. Les participants ont pu b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier durant cet atelier de l\u2019accompagnement d\u2019experts r\u00e9gionaux et mondiaux en analyse \u00e9conomique, mais aussi d\u2019un package d\u2019outils adapt\u00e9s aux particularit\u00e9s des pays en d\u00e9veloppement afin d\u2019aider les chercheurs \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser plus facilement les \u00e9valuations \u00e9conomiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Plusieurs pays ont pu profiter de l\u2019opportunit\u00e9 de cet atelier virtuel pour faire des avanc\u00e9es notables sur l\u2019aspect \u00e9conomique de leurs \u00e9tudes.
