After Modules 1 and 2, Central African countries participated in Module 3 of the training for capacity building in operational research, from 02 to 06 December 2019.
Organized by the WARN/CARN-TB Executive Secretariat, with the technical and financial support of WHO/TDR, this training workshop which took place at the Hôtel du Lac in Cotonou (Benin) aimed at familiarizing participants with the manipulation of research data to extract results.
The workshop brought together 20 participants from the 11 Central African countries during 05 days and enabled them to acquire practical knowledge on concepts such as statistical analysis design, quantitative and qualitative research approaches, descriptive statistics and univariate and multivariate analysis. The participants also had the opportunity to discover the District Health Information Software 2 (DHIS2), a health data collection and management software, mainly intended for the management of routine health data.
The module 4 which will take place soon, will focus on scientific publication.
