On 19 and 20 December 2019, the second scientific days against tuberculosis took place at the “Chant d’Oiseau” in Cotonou. Just as the first days took place in November 2017, the second days also revolved around one of the pillars of the END TB strategy, namely, patient-centered approaches to end the disease. In her opening address, the Deputy Director of the Office of the Minister of Health of Benin recalled that despite the efforts made, TB is still a major problem for the health system, with a still high death rate and free treatment. She therefore insisted on the urgency to find new strategies and interventions that will allow us to take care of the TB patient in its entirety, to improve our achievements. These two days, organized with the active participation of the National Tuberculosis Programme (NTP) team of Togo, gave rise to numerous conferences and communications that allowed participants to better understand various aspects of the fight against TB in Benin and Togo.
